Facebook used to control my life. My boyfriend told me it was stupid and that I was so absorbed in it. Then one day he asked me how to create an account. It was like a revelation. We were both on Facebook for probably over two hours every night. I got so angry at him because for two weeks he was dissing on me for being on it all the time, and now that he was on it I wasn't allowed to diss on him.
So anyways, we both got fed up with all the drama on Facebook and now we probably log in maybe twice a week. It has given us so much free time and I'm happy. It always hurt my eyes and back to be on the computer for so long.
Well Facebook, you don't own me anymore.
Facebook doesn't own me. I just enjoy getting on there to catch up with my friends and family. I mostly check it from my phone, but even then, it's only if I feel it's worth my while to look at. I am more addicted to another site. It's pretty spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI chat with my boyfriend on facebook for a couple hours everynight. I enjoy the time to talk. We are both busy, and night time it seems is the only time we both get to relax. I also enjoy "stalking" my friends and looks at their walls and pictures. I used to play a bunch of games on there like farmville but it was wasting so much of my time. So I stopped. Facebook is a good site for keeping up with friends though. Especially for the busy person.
