Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving my boyfriend, Jacob, and I decided that it was only fair if we went to my families for Thanksgiving because his family's was going to be Saturday instead of Thursday. Well his mom cooked a ton of food and then got pissed off that we left without eating any of it. I hadn't seen my dad's side of the family since Christmas last year so I was excited to see everyone again. Especially my twin cousins who just turned one. I hadn't seen them since they were born. They had gotten so big and they were running around everywhere. They were adorable.
The food was all amazing and I ate way too much. I had to unbutton my pants just to get comfortable afterwards lol. After we ate we got out board games and it was alot of fun. Until Jacob's mom called. She said it was raining back home and she wanted us to come home. So we told her that we would once we were done socializing. So we played another game or two and she called again! Bitching at us to get home now because it was sleeting really bad. We stayed for about twenty more minutes and then she called again! Jacob was fed up with it so he told her that we were leaving.
It really pissed me off! I was not done spending time with my family! I was actually having fun with them for once. So we went home and guess what?! There was about a half inch of sleet on the cars and that was it! She lied to us telling us that it was sleeting so bad and that the roads were terrible! Well it was all a bunch of bull! It made me so angry!
Just a week ago she was talking to me about how family is important, and at how when you are with them you need to make the best of it and to try to make everything better. And now here she was tearing me away from my family! It really pissed me off and so when we got home Jacob confronted her telling her that she had no right to do what she did. Well she just stared at us and turned around and walked away. While she was walking away she said, "Well I'm sorry that you were not ready to come home." Even though she apologized, the way she said it was so sarcastic and hateful and it didn't sound like she meant it at all. This all really hurt me and its just not the same between us now because I am still angry.
