So on Saturday morning, we got up at seven, took showers, made and ate breakfast by eight. Then my boyfriend, Jacob, and I loaded his two little sisters into his mother's mini van and drove from Chester to Marion, and it took us just alittle over an hour. We then drove to their uncle's house and he and his boyfriend got in the van too, and we were on our way to Ingraham. Jacob's Greatgrandmother turned 90 years old a couple of days ago, thats why we were traveling so far on that windy Saturday morning. Lots of friends and family gathered together to celebrate the birth of this 90 year old woman who still is alive and kicking! She still lives on her own and takes care of herself everyday! I felt honored to meet her because she survived what a lot of people can't... life. It was an amazing fun party and I got to meet all my boyfriend's family.
After the party some of the adults decided they wanted to out and continue to party. This meant that Jacob and I would be stuck babysitting everyone's kids since we are under age. I guess it wasn't that bad of a night. The kids were mostly quiet and off playing somehwere... allowing us some quiet time. It was all just a really nice day. It was the perfect temperature and there was a breeze. Everything was perfect for more than a half a day which is rare in my life.
